DALLAS, Nov. 24, 2016 /CNW/ -- ISN released its 2016 benchmarking report series analyzing health & safety performance indicators in Canada. The reports are organized by industry classification & work type for contractor performance and key performance indicator (KPI) statistics for Hiring Clients. These reports are based on 2015 data aggregated for almost 2 billion work hours of activity in Canada reported via ISNetworld, ISN's online contractor management platform.
These benchmarking reports present data across varying industries, such as oil & gas (upstream, midstream and downstream), utilities, power generation, chemical, food & beverage, paper, consumer products, mining and fertilizer products.
"Each year we find that our customers look forward to this value-added benefit of the benchmarking report series for planning purposes," said Dag Yemenu, ISN Senior Vice President of Technical and Customer Services. "The analytics that our team continues to fine-tune gives our customers insight in their performance and the performance of the overall industry."
The KPIs represented in the Canada reports include total recordable frequency (TRF), lost time frequency (LTF), fatality rate and incident severity (in days). The Contractor Health & Safety report is organized based on the Workers' Compensation Industry Code for the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan and by ISN Work Type, while the Hiring Client report is organized by industry.
"We are proud to provide this type of detailed analysis to our customers," said Joseph Eastin, ISN President & CEO. "Our customers continually use the analysis provided in these benchmarking reports to make strategic decisions. We look forward to providing this level of analysis for years to come."
