New CEO brings wealth of experience and long standing commitment to JA mission
TORONTO, July 25, 2016 /CNW/ - JA Canada, today announced the appointment of Scott Hillier as CEO & President. Scott was selected following an extensive search process led by Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge.
Scott has been a passionately committed member of the JA Charter leadership team for the past 12+ years, most recently as President & CEO, JA Southern Alberta. During his eight-year tenure he led JA Southern Alberta to become one of the strongest JA Charters in Canada. Scott brings an extensive professional background in business development, marketing, and entrepreneurship to the role.

Last year in Canada with the support of ~13,000 volunteers JA delivered ~10,000 programs to ~250,000 students across Canada. To further enhance their ability to reach students the organization launched the first phase of a digital strategy to expand learning beyond the classroom and an online school and community for volunteers (Royden Richardson Virtual School).
