MONTREAL, April 24, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Cherif Habib, Co-Founder and CEO of virtual healthcare platform Dialogue Technologies ("Dialogue"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-François Séguin as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
Jean-François returns to Canada to join Dialogue after five years working abroad as a Vice President in the investment banking division of Rothschild & Co. (London, UK) and as a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Group of law firm Clifford Chance (London, UK and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia). He was previously an associate at Fasken in Montreal.
"One of Dialogue's top priorities is to attract the best international talent we can find to deliver on our mission. We are thrilled to repatriate Jean-François back to Canada. His breadth of experience in international business and law will be invaluable assets as we continue to expand," said Cherif.
As Executive Vice President, Jean-François will lead Dialogue's expansion and will act as Chief of Staff, overseeing administrative functions such as finance, talent and investor relations. He will also be responsible for legal and governmental affairs and serve as the Corporate Secretary of the company.
Dialogue, which launched in 2016, is now Canada's leading telemedicine company.
Dialogue recently announced the close of a Series A funding round of $12-million and large-scale distribution deals with partners such as Great-West Life and SSQ. It's an opportunity to join an exceptional fast-growing business and to contribute to Montreal's increasingly dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem."
Jean-François received his LL.M from the New York University School of Law, where he was a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of Law & Business, and completed MBA studies in finance at NYU's Leonard N.
