MONTREAL, Nov. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On the 8th and 9th of November, La Grande Dégustation de Montréal drew close to 13000 visitors to the Place Bonaventure, a 7% increase from the previous year. This was the third edition of this event presented by l'Association québecoise des agences de vins, bières et spiriteux and the Société des alcools du Québec.
Once again, visitors were delighted by the wide range of products (1200), the incredible large gathering of producers (160) and the entry of new mini-events the Petites Dégustations and the Chardonnay Awards.
"The success of this third edition confirms the important place that La Grande Dégustation de Montréal holds in the hearts of the Québec population," emphasizes Lucien Davalan, president of the AQAVBS. This is undoubtedly the optimal place to interact and socialize with producers, and a unique opportunity to discover some of the best product in the world.
