TORONTO, Jan. 23, 2019 /CNW/ - After more than 10 years with the organization, Matthew Logue, has announced his decision to resign from his role as President of MKTG Canada effective June 2019.
"I have always searched for opportunities that have stretched and challenged me, both personally and professionally, and MKTG has been an incredible place for me to do just that for more than 10 years. I am extremely proud of what we've achieved – quadrupling the size of the agency, the client wins and award-winning activations. We have built a market leading agency that provides unique value to the sponsorship industry," said Matthew Logue, President, MKTG Canada. "I am fortunate to have worked with great industry leaders at MKTG, the Dentsu Aegis Network and our clients. At this stage in my career, I am ready for my next chapter and I will be seeking new opportunities to grow my experience and skillset. I also look forward to seeing MKTG continue to thrive and build on the strong foundation we have built together."
Brian Cooper, CEO of MKTG Canada, and the extended senior leadership team remains in place. Matthew will be working with them during this transition period as well as participating in a candidate search to ensure a seamless transition.
"I want to thank Matthew for his contribution to both S&E and now MKTG. He has been a key player in the growth of the organization, shaping our culture and future leaders, leading marquis accounts and participating in many of the award-winning sponsorship programs we have negotiated and developed over the years," said Brian Cooper, CEO at MKTG Canada. "His relentless pursuit of "what's next" will serve him well in any new endeavor he undertakes. We wish Matthew the very best with whatever lies ahead."
