Hudson's Bay Company was founded by King Charles II of England, in 1670 and is one of the oldest continually operating companies in the world.
Come and hear some of the highlights of this great company's history, and its reinvention in recent years to becoming one of the leading department stores in the world.
Bonnie Brooks has been at the helm of Hudson's Bay since 2008, and she will share some of the insights of the journey, the strategy, and returning the company into Canadian public ownership with the IPO in 2012. Also included in the journey was the integration of the famous Lord and Taylor banner, into HBC, which owns 48 stores in the northeast United States, and is the oldest department store in the USA, founded in 1825. Together these two retail icons have over 500 years of retail!
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to this most interesting luncheon presentation.
