Media Advisory - CEP's Dave Coles available to comment from Energy and Mines Ministers' Conference Français
CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI, Sept. 7, 2012 /CNW/ - -- The National President of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP), Dave Coles, will be available to comment from the Energy and Mines Ministers Conference early next week. CEP will be participating in the conference to represent over 35,000 Canadian workers in the energy sector.
"The fact that the only refinery in BC is short of crude oil to treat because it is being exported overseas is just one example of how the country's energy strategy is in shambles" said Dave Coles. "We will be looking to the Ministers to show leadership and make real changes that will transform the Canadian Economy towards a sustainable one by creating jobs and providing energy security to all Canadians."
