MEDIA ADVISORY - CRFA to discuss setting dairy prices for greater market growth with Canadian Dairy Commission

Who:		Representatives of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA), including Chair Susan Senecal and President and CEO Garth Whyte, will meet with the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC).
What:		CRFA will call on the CDC for a collaborative approach to setting competitive dairy prices that help producers, consumers and restaurateurs buy and sell more dairy. CRFA will ask for: a freeze on industrial milk prices for 2014; an extension of the 3d class to other restaurant cheeses; and improved data information and access.
When:		Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 2 p.m.
Where:		Canadian Dairy Commission Building 55 NCC Driveway Central Experimental Farm 960 Carling Ave. Ottawa, ON Garth Whyte will be available for interviews before or after the CDC meeting.
