Privacy Commissioner Jennifer Stoddart to release privacy law reform proposals
TORONTO, May 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Privacy Commissioner of Canada Jennifer Stoddart will release a report on Thursday, May 23 outlining her proposals for modernizing Canada's private-sector privacy legislation to ensure it is able to meet the new challenges of the digital age.
Commissioner Stoddart will discuss the recommendations during her keynote address to the International Association of Privacy Professionals 2013 Canada Privacy Symposium.
The Commissioner will be available for media interviews following her presentation.
