TORONTO, May 24, 2013 /CNW/ - On Monday, May 27, 2013, the Metrolinx Board of Directors will consider the agency's final report to government recommending an investment strategy to support over 400 km of new and enhanced transit, along with improvements to roads and highways.
Media are invited to an embargoed briefing before the public board meeting, at the Toronto Reference Library in the Prologue room.

No pre-registration is required for the briefing. Reporters wishing to attend the briefing must agree to the following terms and conditions:
- After signing in, reporters must remain in the room and no information may be transmitted or released until after the embargo is lifted at 9:30 am or when the Metrolinx Board meeting is ready to begin on May 27, 2013.
- Data cards, wireless networking and other communication devices or services built into laptops, tablets, smart phones, cameras and other equipment must not be used before 9:30 am or when the Metrolinx Board begins to transmit information regarding the briefing.
- Media will not be permitted to leave the media room once documents have been distributed. Washrooms are available inside the venue.
- In the unlikely event that the building has to be evacuated before 10:00 am due to an emergency, attendees should leave the building immediately.
