WINNIPEG, Dec. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, along with the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will make an important announcement and host a question and answer session regarding rail freight services and amendments to the Canada Transportation Act. This event will be open to media either in person in Winnipeg or via teleconference.
The announcement will be preceded by a technical briefing for media on rail freight services and amendments to the Canada Transportation Act via teleconference. Media are requested to RSVP to the technical briefing and/or the media event by calling Transport Canada Media Relations at 613-993-0055. Media will have until 6:00 p.m. (EST) to reserve their spot at the technical briefing and/or media event.
