Media Advisory - Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls - Media Availability with Ministers Bennett, Wilson-Raybould and Joly Français
OTTAWA, Jan. 21, 2016 /CNW/ - Please be advised that the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, along with the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, and the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will be available to the media to discuss the Montréal meeting with family members and loved ones of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
Please note that given the nature of the discussions to be had, and out of respect for the attendees, the meetings are not open to the public or media.
The media availability will be preceded by a technical briefing with an official from the Department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada who will be available to answer questions of a technical nature related to the pre-enquiry design meetings and process.
