MONTREAL, Oct. 29, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - While the issue of free trade is still very much a preoccupation following the renegotiation of NAFTA, trade between Canadian provinces remains hindered by numerous obstacles that cost Canadians billions of dollars every year.
It's time to ask why we don't have access to the same internal free trade here in Canada that our peer countries or other federal jurisdictions like the European Union, the United States, and Australia have.
This is why the Canadian Constitution Foundation, the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies, and the MEI combined forces in order to organize the One Country, One Market National Conference. This event will be held in Ottawa on November 1st, 2018 at the Shaw Centre.
Many renowned speakers and panelists will take part in the event, including: the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental and Northern Affairs and Internal Trade; columnist Andrew Coyne; the Honourable James Moore; Martha Hall Findlay; and the Honourable Darrell Dexter.
