In polling conducted by Harris-Decima for the Canadian Federation of Students, reducing tuition fees was chosen by respondents as the single most important priority for government re-investment in universities and colleges. 78% of respondents also oppose increases in tuition fees.
The Canadian Federation of Students is composed of over one-half million students across the country from more than 80 university and college students' unions. Post-secondary students in Canada have been represented by the Canadian Federation of Students and its predecessor organisations since 1927.
