MONTREAL, Oct. 13th, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The official launch of the 15th edition of Tremblant's 24h event will be held tomorrow, at the Société des arts technologiques of Montreal. Again this year, skiers, walkers and runners will join forces for the children during the event, which will take place in Tremblant on December 4, 5 and 6.
At the launch, media representatives will have the opportunity to meet with participants, ambassadors and children who will be paired with participating teams during the event.
Video presentations, inspirational speeches and a festive atmosphere are to be expected during this evening dedicated to the courage and strength of children who will benefit from this important fundraising activity through the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau and Tremblant Foundation, the beneficiaries of the event.

For the 15th anniversary of Tremblant's 24h, close to 2,000 skiers and some 400 walkers and runners are expected to participate to the event, trying to raise a record amount of donations; $2.5 million. Last year, the event raised over $2.3 million. Since 2001, $18 million were donated to the children.
