MONTRÉAL, June 19, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - After having completed the integration of our local brands to the journalmetro.com web platform several years ago, we have now finalized the second stage of the project this past week: refashioning the print editions of those local papers.
Métro Média, owner of Métro and of 19 local weekly papers on the island of Montreal, was looking to unify its brand image, and to modernize and rejuvenate its papers in order to deliver what our readers expect from us.
The new visual identity encapsulates a great change for Métro Média: a new corporate culture and new distribution strategies for our original content, full of strong, unifying and engaging themes.
This visual change includes name changes to reflect the neighborhoods covered by each weekly paper, as well as a new, more urban layout that uses Métro's colors across all territories: green will be seen in the heart of all of Montreal's different communities!
Métro Média is a Quebec media company that owns 25 weekly publications in Montreal and Quebec City, as well as the daily newspaper Métro. Our papers reach more than 2,2 million engaged and connected readers every week.
