TORONTO, Dec. 18, 2015 /CNW/ - Mark Finney, Vice-President, Strategic Sales, Bell Media announced today that Michael Alexandor and Alyson Walker have joined Bell Media Sales. Alexandor, who joined Bell Media earlier this month, is appointed Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation. Walker joins Bell Media on Jan. 11 as Vice-President, Brand Partnerships. Additionally, Debbie Drutz becomes Vice-President, Client Strategy. Alexandor, Drutz, and Walker report to Finney as a part of his senior management team.

In his new role, Alexandor oversees the marketing strategy for Bell Media Sales including trade sponsorships and advertising initiatives across Canada. Alexandor leads the strategy to strengthen Bell Media Sales' position as a leader in an ever-changing industry through branding initiatives, relationship marketing, social media, and business-to-business opportunities that connect directly with clients. Before joining Bell Media, Alexandor was a partner at Temporarily Unpopular Ideas, an ideas architecture and design agency he co-founded in 2011. Previously he was the Head of Media, Markets, and Innovation at Astral Out of Home, and has held several senior marketing roles at companies such as Calvin Klein Fragrances and Unilever. Alexandor joined Bell Media in early December following the departure of Nathalie Doré.
As Vice-President, Brand Partnerships, Walker is responsible for driving incremental revenues through innovative media solutions, creating new revenue streams, and building a plan to establish Bell Media as Canada's premium media partner across all platforms. Walker arrives at Bell Media from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment where she was Vice-President Content, a position she has held since 2014. Prior to that she spent four years as Executive Director, Marketing and Commercial Partnerships, for the Canadian Olympic Committee. Alyson joined the COC after great success in her role as Senior Manager of Sponsorship and Syndication for Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, where she was part of the team that broke new ground in the coverage of live sporting events.
Formerly Vice-President, The Mix, Bell Media, Drutz becomes Vice-President, Client Strategy with a new focus on long-term business opportunities for prioritized clients. The Client Strategy team will support five specific categories: Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Food and Drink, and, Finance.
