Quote
"Parliamentary oversight of government spending is paramount. That is why we have made comprehensive changes to the Estimates process in timing, scope and accounting methods, vote structure, and in how we report on results. We are making the planning, spending, tracking and reporting of taxpayer dollars more transparent. This means parliamentarians and Canadians can better follow the money being invested to grow the economy."
- The Honourable Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Digital Government
