- The NHS is built on strong partnerships between federal, provincial and territorial governments, and on continuous engagement with others, including municipalities, Indigenous governments and organizations, and the social and private sectors to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians.
- Since March 2009, the Government of Saskatchewan has invested $10.85 million with Habitat to house Saskatchewan low- to moderate-income families across the province in 14 communities: the Battleford region, Duck Lake, Fort Qu'Appelle, Estevan, Humboldt, Lloydminster, Melfort, Moose Jaw, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Weyburn and Yorkton.
- This investment supports Saskatchewan's Housing Strategy and Poverty Reduction Strategy by ensuring Saskatchewan people in greatest need have access to affordable, safe, secure and stable housing.
