BRANDON, MB, Aug. 30, 2013 /CNW/ - The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) will resume security screening of passengers and their belongings at Brandon Municipal Airport on September 3, 2013. CATSA is happy to contribute to the security of air travellers.
"Because all passengers must go through screening, we advise them to familiarize themselves with the list of items that are permitted in carry-on bags and the various steps of the screening process," said Angus Watt, CATSA President and CEO. "This will ensure their screening is quick and efficient."
"The City of Brandon is pleased to welcome CATSA back to the Brandon Municipal Airport," said Timothy Sanderson, Director of Transportation Services with the City of Brandon. "The new daily passenger flights to and from the Brandon region have provided us with the opportunity to renew our relationship with CATSA, and we do so with a positive outlook and an eye toward future growth."
CATSA reminds passengers that preparation is the key to an easier screening experience.
