The Public Chain Technology Alliance (PCTA), an international organization for collaboration, resource-sharing, and technical standardization among public blockchains, is proud to welcome seven esteemed blockchain projects. The latest members expand PCTA's global footprint, with new hailing from around the world, as well as the Alliance's expertise in such areas as technological development, community-building, marketing, design, and more.
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 26, 2018 /CNW/ -- Cryptocurrency prices have dropped dramatically since peaking nearly one year ago, and with much of the initial excitement around blockchain technology. Nevertheless, in the face of such conditions, the Public Chain Technology Alliance (PCTA) continues to grow and show its commitment to overcoming the ongoing blockchain winter.
After conducting its first live ask-me-anything (AMA) session on Reddit last week, the PCTA is proud to welcome seven new members to its organization. PCTA is the first public blockchain alliance in China, and aims to establish a network of collaboration among blockchain projects around the world.
"PCTA hopes to truly unite everyone, share the underlying technology and experience, and build a pool for resource-sharing. This is also the original aspiration of Bitsclub and Bitsclub Vision Program," said Hitters Xu, founder of Nebulas and the initiator of Bitsclub Vision Program, which helped established the PCTA.
Among the new PCTA members are NEM, Loopring, RUFF, Bottos, Contentos, CoinXP, and DACC. These projects stand out in terms of quality, experience, as well as their global footprint. NEM, for example, has a large presence in Japan, and is one of the top-performing projects in the space according to CoinMarketCap, as of November 2018, and Loopring is one of the most promising decentralized token exchange projects in the space.
The blockchain projects above add to the existing list of notable PCTA members, including founding members Nebulas, Bytom, PCHAIN, HPB, NULS, XMAX, YouDeal, and Atlas Protocol. Quality projects from around the world are encouraged to inquire about PCTA to learn more about how the Alliance can support them to realize their blockchain dreams.
The PCTA vision began to take shape more than five years ago with Bitsclub, the first blockchain-focused angel investing community in China. PCTA aims to create a cooperative and inclusive alliance—fostering cooperation rather than competition in blockchain—to align blockchain ecosystems that have until this point operated in relative isolation from one another, with the ultimate goal of bringing 100 million new users to the blockchain.
