Methodology of the Marketing/Leger 2013 Corporate Reputation Survey
The 2013 survey was conducted online between Jan. 7 and 28 from a sample of approximately 2,100 Canadians 18 years of age or older. In total, 193 companies from 36 industries were evaluated in order to adequately represent the players with the various sectors surveyed. Each participant was asked if they had a good or bad opinion of the companies on the list to determine the reputation score (the good opinion minus the bad opinion, rounded to the nearest whole number). Every year, Leger adds new companies to the list based on their significance in the marketplace, as well as consumer feedback. The complete Marketing/Leger Corporate Reputation Survey can be found in the May 20, 2013 issue of Marketing.
