Products should not be consumed
CHAMBLY, QC, Oct. 24, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Unibroue Brewery has been informed that a trailer containing pallets of Unibroue Rousse beer bottles that were meant to be destroyed, was recently stolen at a vendor's yard. Unibroue wants to inform the public that these products did not meet the company's quality standards and should not be consumed.
There is a slight chance the products may contain small particles from the plastic liner of the bottle cap. These bottles had been entrusted to a vendor to be properly destroyed.
Any bottle that bears the production date code listed below should not be consumed:
- Unibroue Rousse – 12-pack bottles, production date code: D2018Q
The production date code can be found printed on the cases or on the shoulder of the bottles, just below the bottle neck.
The police have been contacted, and Unibroue asks that anyone who encounters bottles with the above production date code to please contact Unibroue's consumer relations team at: [email protected] or 1 800 547-1834 ext. 2209.
