About the Wabush 3 Project, Mr. Savignac continued: "The Wabush 3 project - a $ 79 million Canadian investment will extend the life of the mine, reduce operating costs and increase production concentrate and high quality pellets. Wabush 3 is a new pit that will be operated as part of IOC's existing mining operations.
This value-oriented investment will provide significant benefits to our company, our employees and the surrounding communities of Labrador West and Sept Iles for years to come. It extends the life of the mine and provides employment opportunities for the future."
