Guests who visited McDonald's yesterday received a special thank you card from a family who has stayed at a Ronald McDonald House or Family Room
TORONTO, July 17, 2019 /CNW/ - Yesterday, families who have stayed at a Ronald McDonald House or Family Room across the country expressed their gratitude for Canadians continued support—by thanking them in their own words.
Guests who visited McDonald's restaurants received a special surprise – a handwritten card from a parent or child who has stayed at a Ronald McDonald House, sharing their stories of hope, healing and heartfelt appreciation. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) support of families with sick children is made possible thanks to Canadians generous donations. In fact, support from Canadians coast-to-coast has allowed RMHC to provide more support to families with sick children than ever before. Last year, Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms helped more than 25,000 families stay close to their sick child while they were receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
