The Canadian Renewable Fuels Association and BioTalent Canada Join Forces to Fuel Canada's Bio-economy Français
OTTAWA, April 23, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) and BioTalent Canada today announced a new alliance connecting CRFA members to BioTalent Canada's suite of essential human resource tools and services.
"CRFA members are at the forefront of creating the green jobs of the future," said CRFA President W. Scott Thurlow. "This partnership with BioTalent Canada will help connect our members to the talent and human resources products and services needed to build Canada's emerging bio-economy."
This partnership will allow CRFA members to access BioTalent Canada's human resource expertise and cutting-edge tools and corporate services, like The PetriDish™, Canada's only national bilingual biotechnology job board.
"Our 2013 labour market report, Sequencing the Data, shows how severely skills shortages are hampering the growth of Canada's bio-economy," says Rob Henderson, President and CEO of BioTalent Canada. "Our cooperation with the CRFA will not only enhance the reach and efficiency of both our organizations, but it will also help build a greener Canada for future generations through the great work of the CRFA and its members."
The CRFA joins one of Canada's largest networks of national and provincial biotech industry associations and private corporations – one that BioTalent Canada has forged in the past two years, including Rx&D (Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies), BIOTECanada, MEDEC, Scotiabank StartRight, Drake International, and Porter Airlines. This network gives partners a direct channel and exposure to thousands of employers, employees, jobseekers, students, graduates, and the rapidly emerging and vital audience of internationally educated professionals throughout Canada's bio-economy.
