MONTREAL, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Ordre des dentistes du Québec is launching a new radio and television advertising campaign to inform Quebecers of the unique role dentists play in helping them maintain their oral health.
"This is the first phase of an integrated communication campaign in keeping with our mission of increasing public awareness," explains Dr. Barry Dolman, President of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec. "The campaign focuses on dentists' important role in Quebecers' lives."
The spots will remind viewers that dentists are there at key moments in our lives to look after us and the health of our teeth and mouths. For four weeks starting January 7, a 30-second television spot will be aired on 10 general and special-interest French-language networks, mostly during prime time. The campaign will also include English ads on four radio stations.
The tagline for the ads will be "Dentists. Doctors who put a spotlight on your oral health," clearly positioning dentists as doctors of the mouth. In the ad, the profession is symbolized by a dentist's lamp and its benevolent glow.
After the initial run in January, the campaign, designed by the Über agency, will be brought back to TV from March 25 to April 7.
