TORONTO, Aug. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - The CAW will open up negotiations with General Motors, Chrysler and Ford in a series of meetings on August 14-15, at the Sheraton Centre downtown Toronto. The union will also hold a press conference on August 14 at 12 p.m. to present its goals for this set of negotiations.
The schedule will be as follows
Tuesday, August 14:
10 a.m. - CAW-GM master bargaining committee meets with General Motors Canada
12 p.m. - CAW press conference
1:30 p.m. - CAW-Chrysler master bargaining committee meets with Chrysler Canada
Wednesday, August 15:
10 a.m. - CAW-Ford master bargaining committee meets with Ford Motor Company of Canada
There will be photo opportunities at the beginning of each meeting and at the press conference. All meetings with the auto companies will take place in the Dominion Ballroom on the second floor.
The press conference on Tuesday will take place in the City Hall Room, on the second floor of the Sheraton Centre (123 Queen Street West, Toronto).

Presenting at the press conference will be CAW President Ken Lewenza, with comments from the chairs of the CAW GM, Chrysler and Ford master bargaining committees - CAW Local 222 President Chris Buckley, CAW Local 444 President Dino Chiodo and CAW Local 707 President Gary Beck, respectively.
