Vincent Damphousse Asks Crown Prosecutor to Drop Charges of Theft and Assault with a Weapon against his Ex-Wife Allana Henderson Français
MONTREAL, Jan. 14, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Vincent Damphousse today informed the Crown prosecutor that he wishes to drop the charges of theft and assault with a weapon against his ex-wife, and mother of two of his children, Allana Henderson.
"The criminal charges filed against Allana Henderson in 2011 are extremely serious, and I do not wish to minimize them. However, since my family remains my priority, I have made the decision to put this episode behind us and enable everyone involved to move forward in a constructive manner. Furthermore, I recently obtained joint custody of my children and, in their best interest, I believe sparing our two young sons from a trial against their mother and facilitating future communication with her is more important than dwelling on the past," stated Vincent Damphousse.
Damphousse indicated that he now intends to focus on the positive by spending quality time with his newly formed family. He will make no further comments on this matter.
