OTTAWA, Oct. 15, 2014 /CNW/ - To celebrate Canada's Citizenship Week 2014, Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander and Chungsen Leung, Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism, will welcome 99 new citizens at a special citizenship ceremony at the Tzu Chi Foundation.
Canada's Citizenship Week (October 13-19) is a celebration of Canadian history, traditions, culture, values and pride. It provides Canadians with an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Canadian, including our rights and responsibilities.
